Every time I try to turn on my computer it acts like it will load. Then gives the message, "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info then we'll restart for you". It shuts off. Pretends to load some more then gives me the message again. WHAT CAN I DO?

Black screen... It sounds like your OS has an error. Try resetting your system to an older date.
Could you specify what kind of screen. Photo would be great!

Follow these steps...

1. Click the power button, then the OS will start.. immediately press F8 in your system
2. Then you got some option like 1. System Repair 2. Recovery Method
3. From that options you can selection recovery method
4. After that you can restore your system

Make sure to remove all USB drives ETC.

Happy Computing!

Please, follow the instructions below:
- Turn the computer off
- Remove all usb devices from the computer
- Turn the computer on
- Start pressing the F8 key on the top of the keyboard
- At the Boot menu, choose Last Known Good Configuration
- Hit the Enter key three times
Try that and let me know if it works.

After the message pops up while turning on it goes straight to a black screen, then goes more to a blue one and pretends to load. It's a windows8 and I have no idea what the make or model is. It won't let me turn on the laptop at all.

It's an HP Vision I guess, and it won't even let me get to boot menu, give me options, or any things like that. Can't even more the mouse.

I don't know what a splash screen is, I'm very computer dumb. I've tried the f8 button a few times right when it turns on and nothing happens.

Someone told me to do that as well. It won't let me push any of those, and won't take me to anything else to give me the safe mode as an option.

Just want to confirm that you are pressing these buttons while it's loading(windows symbol/black screen before load/etc).

Pretty much as soon as I see activity on the screen is when I push them.
