Hello,

I have an issue with my laptop. So I had decided to repaste my Alienware 17r4 and now it won’t boot up at all.

I am wondering if I can transfer my pcie ssd to a new computer somehow

And the ssd is the C drive and it has windows 10 Pro on it

Here are my system specs:

Alienware 17r4

Intel i7 6820hk

Nvidia gtx 1080

Windows 10 Pro

Please help,
Thank you :)

Quick update. The Alienware model you have has 2x NVMe M.2 2280 slots, 1x 2.5-inch SATA III bay, and the uncommon 1x 2242 M.2 slot. I suppose you had an HDD in the SATA bay and an NVME M.2 2280 Form Factor SSD. So chances are you can place it into any modern desktop PC or reuse it with an adapter.

Thank you for the quick replies. :)

The laptop is not in raid. All it has is a m2 pcie ssd and a hard drive.

Yes I am looking into getting it repaired today any recommendations for good repair shops.

Thank you again and I’ll keep you posted for new updates:)
