I've looked up and all i found were unanswered questions only !

Why do we face performance issues like lag in games and decreased FPS while the laptop is being charged ?

If i want to play with some decent FPS, i need to unplug my laptop and it gives a maximum of two hours of gameplay !

any solution is also appreciated :):bounce:

Solution

Yes, i put every setting into maximum and even turned off the hard disk power saver too !
it's performing excellent on battery but the problem arises when i charge it !

__ Lenovo G505s, 4GB RAM with 4GB additional ReadyBoost
AMD A8 elite

go to AMD Catalyst and go to power then select "maximise performance" on battery.

Also try running prime95 for about 30 minutes and see if the laptop is throttling (underclocking) with cpu-z.
check temps with hwinfo

or maybe theres application tat runs once your laptop is plugged in thats hogging the cpu

Sure thing :)
will report with the prime95 values.

see if the cpu frequency dips below 1.45ghz in cpu-z. you may have to wait a few minutes for the cpu/chipset to warm up

Solution
Hey, I found the solution for my problem.
It seems the sable versions of BIOS by lenovo had these issues.
I installed a beta version of BIOS (v 2.5) and everything's good.

Previously, the CPU clocked 1.9 GHz on charging, Now it remains at 2.4 even when on charging.

Anyways. Thanks, epioverclock !!
I appreciate your help :)
