Laptop port SSD identification?

I'm having trouble identifying the type port this is? I wanna say mSata?
Just trying to confirm. It was an empty day on a new laptop I got.

Also should there be any problems having the OS boot from this port?

That is an M.2 slot, but it needs a screw on the other side to hold down the card like on this image.

So this is a M.2 port then ?
There are 2 screw holes, Which i am now assuming is for the different sizes of cards ?

Also how can i tell if its just Sata speeds or NGFF speeds ? I cant find much documentation on the motherboard.

Only way you can find out the exact connection speeds is from the system specs. It will be fast enough anyway that they only way you can tell any differences is through a benchmark of the drive.
