laptop power consumption by processor

I'm looking at Dell laptops and am wondering which intel processor (i7, i5, i3) would have the smallest power consumption so that a change would last the longest. And is this a reasonable way to judge a laptop ?

They all have the same thermal design power of 15 watts. To judge a laptop, all it's specs must be taken into consideration. be it display, processor, storage or battery.

If need a long lasting laptop. get the LG Gram. It's also very light weight.
