I was wondering if I encounter the "Power Flea" problem, what should I do ? From what I read on Internet power flea means residual electricity that remains in the motherboard.
I don't know if my battery is detachable/removable. This is what I found out on the Internet:
1). First set of instructions :
ii) For the second, I don't know if my battery is removable. What happens if my battery is removable but I try step 4 like it's non-removable ? If it were removable, I wouldn't remove it because I don't want to break something in the laptop.
So is it ok to I act like it's non-removable ?
iii) What happens if I perform a power drain with no reason, just like a maintenance of the laptop ?
Thank you for your time !
I don't know if my battery is detachable/removable. This is what I found out on the Internet:
1). First set of instructions :
- If the laptop's battery is external, remove the battery.
- Unplug the AC adapter from the machine.
- Press and hold power button for at least 10 seconds.
- Turn on the machine.
- Shut down the computer.
- Unplug the computer from the wall socket.
- If the battery is removable, Remove the battery and hold the Power button down for 15 seconds.
- If the battery is non-removable, while the computer is ON, hold the power button down and wait for the computer to shut down and still hold the power button down for another 15 seconds.
- Turn the computer ON and check.
