Laptop powering up on but not showing?

Hello, I recently bought a laptop that powered on fine but after restarting it, it then proceeded to power on but not show on screen, no bios, logon or anything. The laptop is new but after trying a hard reset, removing battery holding power button and putting it back in, I managed to get ti to work.

Thinking the issue was now non-exsistant I restarted the laptop to run into the issue again, but after 2 tries still failing to get it to boot properly. It is running a genuine copy of windows 8.1.

I suspect you are under some kind of warranty, I'll suggest looking into returning the laptop for one that works properly.
