Laptop Problems as deep as the BIOS Help requested!

Hello, I have been having problems with this laptop for years and today I wanted to do something about it. I can barely use they keyboard and the system wont recognize a hard drive. I am pretty sure that a virus has caused this. I tried to flash the bios today... I tried once by booting up Gandalf's redstone win 10 build and once through the boot cmd and both have failed. the Gandalf's option just gave me an error message, but the boot cmd wouldn't let me type anything but a backspace. I really would like to get this working so any help is greatly appreciated.

That's because it isn't... I said above that I cannot load any internal hard drive which means I have to run this portable os off of a usb stick. I had windows 7 home before the computer was harmed.
