Laptop processor

Hello,
i wan to know that i have a dead asus laptop which has a dual core processor and can i fix dual core processor in my acer aspire 4315 2490 which has a celeron m530 processor , the shape and size of both the processors is same, both are pin processors please help me

Probably not. It's not as simple as whether or not the chips would physically fit. The BIOS on one laptop may not recognize the CPU microcode from another computer, and then the cooling system for a particular laptop was calibrated specifically for the CPU that came with it. Putting in a different CPU could lead to issues with too much heat building up and damaging the other internal components.
