Hello everyone,
I’m new to this forum & was hoping someone was generous enough to advise me on what sort of laptop is sufficient for my basic computing needs.
I just don’t really know exactly what to be looking for when it comes to the specifics.

Basically I will be using the laptop for:

-Sports streaming (legal, safe, subscribed official sites)
-Basic Microsoft office tasks
-iTunes library

Generally I’ll be using the laptop to stream sports on most evenings.
I’m looking for a laptop that wil give me a smooth stream.
More than likely aiming to go with around a 15” display.

My budget is 600-$800 & I prefer HP.

Possible examples:

Thanks in advance for any response.

The HP 14" should be adequate for your needs.

It's not only more powerful but also light weight and comes with a SSD which makes a big difference in performance.

Any laptop with the current gen Quad core CPU, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD is good enough for day today work and streaming multimedia.
