[SOLVED] Laptop RAM problem

Hello everyone,
I am undergoing a problem in my laptop. I have 4GB and 8Gb ram stick and my laptop have two ram slots. When I install both the ram sticks in the laptop the laptop don't even boots. But when I install any of the ram stick in the first slot the laptop starts but when I install the same ram stick into second slot, the laptop don't boots up. My laptop is HP 15-da0300tu and both the rams are of crucial company and is 2666MHz. Please provide some solution.

Are both sticks of ram the same voltage, 1.2v or 1.35 v?

Both are of 1.2 v

Ok so try loading the 8 gb memory stick. Then turn on pc and let the memory be recognized. Then turn off the pc then install the 4 gb stick, make sure it is seated properly like you have ocd, then turn on pc and see if it shows up.

I tried but laptop didn't even boots up
This problem is only in one ram slot

Sometimes if memory aren't a matching set they won't work together. The only option I can think of is buying a matching set of 2x8 gb ram and see if it boots. If it doesn't then you can always return the memory.
