Need some help/advice. I just picked up a laptop only had 8gigs of memory (ddr4 3200),
I pick up a kit 2x8g of cosair vengeance (ddr4 2400)
Cpu ryzen 5 4600H

Curious if this kit is going be to worth it at the lower speed or if it will work properly.

Thx in advance

It depends....what are you going to use it for?
For gaming ...some games really like high speed memory! (especially if the latency is low as well).
But I'd go for kit you bough... coz Dual Channel..
Dual Channel is a big thing even in games and is really big help in a lot of applications also.... you will have 16GB Ram...which is always good!
Dual Channel can outweigh .... very big difference in memory speed!

I know Ryzen 5 4600H is not exactly gaming apu... just needed to ask...coz you can game some E-sports titles fairly well on 1080p on medium...
For everything else other than some games dual-channel is a must if it's an option... but in the future buy faster kits ... Ryzen really loves higher memory speeds.
