Question laptop randomly lagging

my computer randomly lags at everything, I can't seem to find a reason for it. Gets 200 fps and randomly lag spikes. (sometimes every few seconds, sometimes a few minutes without lagging) Most notably when experiencing something new, the computer would lag a ton. I know for sure its definetly not cpu or gpu and ram spec issue or virus.

What RGD said will help you determine if there's a throttling / bottleneck issue, but you may also want to look into settings.

Laptops frequently have settings set to power saving modes, which will throttle down your hardware to conserve energy, even sometimes when plugged in. Go into your power options in windows, and set everything relevant to your gaming such as video card, network etc to full performance and see if that helps.

its lagging while without gaming. hardware acceleration is very laggy on chrome.
it has i5 9300h
gtx 1650
8 gb ram
1 tb hdd
fx505gt

are you sure hdd is the reason, like i don't think hdd cause fps lag and many other people i asked think too
