Good afternoon everyone, i'd like to ask for some insight on my case which could help me sort out this problem of mine.
If i remember right, it started around 1-2 months ago at the most. My Lenovo laptop started skipping both audio and video for 1 seconds while making a "BUZZING" sound effect randomly between 2-5-10-60 minutes intervallums. It happens whatever i do: watch a movie / listen to music / play a game / watch youtube / watch streams, anything really. This youtube videos shows basically my problem, while for me, it doesn't happen as frequently in video playback, as for that individual. I wouldn't call it lagging constantly, rather just skipping frames randomly.

So afterwards i've tried to search the internet for possible sollutions and if i remember right i did most of these things already with little to no success:
- The top comment on that youtube link suggest to uninstall the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers and let windows reinstall others through the windows update. This is the only sollution that HELPED ME a little bit i think. It might be a placebo effect but i think the freezing/skipping turned down from 1.5-2 seconds to 0.5-1.5 seconds.
- I've also tried unchecking this : http://imgur.com/yhy9fiJ
- I've also tried running a full Malware & Virus scan.
- I've also tried to update the audio / video drivers to my best ability.
- I've also tried disabling wireless controller in the device manager.
- I've also tried installing Intel Rapid Storage Technology
- I've also tried running DPC Latency Checker which showed everything green.
- I've also tried a Tweaking dot com - Windows Repair (All in One)
- I've also tried to rule out overheating as an issue because the "buzzing skip" also happened at the moment when Speedfan wasn't showing high temperatures at all : http://imgur.com/Wqj2mrV
Here are some of my specs in case they are helping you guys:
Lenovo W520 Thinkpad
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2820QM CPU @ 2.30GHz
Two graphics card : Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000 and NVIDIA Quadro 2000M
8 GB RAM
500 GB ST9500420AS ATA Device
I'm open to any suggestions / requests but please try to make it understandable to someone who isn't an information technologist ^^
Thank you in advance!
Edit: It might be still an overheating issue because it happens much more often when the temperatures are high, but i'm not too sure what to do about those because i already have an USB Cooler below the laptop, which from the looks of it doesn't help that much.
