So the computer I have had for a long time has recently started rebooting every time I load it up. I type in the password and it brings me to the home screen and i can do basically anything for 1-3 min and then the screen just goes black and then restarts.... I have no idea why. Also, It works perfectly fine in Safe Mode it never restarts and i can use the internet if I choose "Safety Mode with Networking." If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. I have already restored it to factory settings and it still does not work. Thank you

Safe Mode works okay so it's not a hardware issue, which is good news I'm sure you'll agree.

When Windows will only start (and continue to run okay ) in Safe Mode, it typically means that a bad third-party driver has been installed.

This can include utility software which includes drivers (eg third-party firewall and/or antivirus, disc-burning software etc).

If that rings any bells, something of that nature which you've installed recently, uninstall it in Safe Mode then restart.

If you've installed a few such items in the past week you'll have to install them one at a time, rebooting after each uninstall operation until you find that Windows is able to start normally.

Yes, but I have already completely restored the laptop so it shouldn't have any of that stuff.
