The top one is a lot better than the E15.

The bottom one is very similar to the E15

I walked through Target today and I saw the Acer 11. I'm very impressed with the looks of it, it seemed to have a pretty good looking screen too. Ill probably go with the Acer 11, and get it through Walmart.com

Any advice as to which model # is the best Acer 11?

Well, best is subjective.

The most power full one is the i5 version, but even that has a 4 gen old cpu.

If you can't above 300, better get some used business laptop.

like Lenovo Thinkpad X240

but if looking for new, then get the Acer Aspire 5s slim.

Chromebooks are not worth it.

Microsoft Surface Go is a touch laptop but only meant for light use and portability.

Both offer amazing value for their price.

You need to be sure what you want.

Now assuming that you only need it for work and don't want to spend over 300, Acer Aspire 5s slim will be the best. No doubt.

And I meant to say the Acer 5s slim has higher ratings than the E15 according to Amazon, how could that be?

Rating is nothing.

It depends on a lot of factors and only gives a rough idea.

What matters is what you want meets your needs or not.

If you are on tight budget, then get the 5s and forget everything else.

and if you're ready to spend 600, then Asus FX505DD or Acer Nitro 5.

FX505 and nitro 5 are both good laptops.
I have helped to purchase one of both for relatives within a year.
