Laptop Recommendations for University Student.

I wanted to ask you for any laptops recommendations in HP or Dell that has the nvidia graphics card (geforce gt 940mx) and i5/7 processor

The softwares that I normally use on a regular basis are:
1. Adobe design softwares (Photoshop and Illustrator)
2. Abit of video editing (Sony Vegas)
3. Remote sensing softwares (ERDAS Imagine 2015 and ArcGIS)
4. As well as statistical softwares (IBM SPSS and 'R')

I do very light gaming so top graphics and processing speed specifically for this purpose is not my main concern.

Would really appreciate your opinions on which laptop is most suitable

I'm not sure about 3 and 4 but if you can do those on a Mac, get yourself a MacBookAir bud. I switched to a Mac 5 years ago and I am never going back to a PC. Especially if you do design etc.

Apple products are not an option for me because they're too expensive :/ Thanks for your suggestion though! My budget is below 900$
