Laptop reliability, AMD vs. Intel

So far, which has least reported problems ... AMD triple core or Intel i3-350

What do you mean by reliability? The Core i3 350M is faster and would probably have a better battery life than the Phenom II X3 N800 series processors.

I will mainly do business apps, simple word & Excel. But, I wondered about my new job of pulling down & viewing blue prints online. Something called "BIDMAIL"; which is NOT as demanding as auto-cad. Further advice appreciated, my first time on this (or any) forum.

Do you know what model AMD you are referring to?

technically the i3 will not have better battery life in general it is all based on the amount of power each CPU uses and all the other devices on the system.
