Question Laptop ribbon cable question

Hi,

I have an old asus laptop x550za which I need to replace 2 ribbon cables.

1 cable is this: https://www.asus-accessories.com/ffc-8-pin-63668-63209.htm#x550za|l|l and it states that it is an IO board cable. Would this cause the monitor from stop displaying anything?

2 cable is this: https://www.asus-accessories.com/ffc-6-pin-63669-61467.htm#x550za|l|l and it states that it is a power cable which is self explanatory.

If someone could answer the question about the monitor it would be really appreciated.

the io board cable would not stop the monitor from displaying.
