Question Laptop Running Hotter After Bios Update

Last night Windows pushed through a BIOS update to my ASUS GL703GM. I have checked the ASUS site, and it is a legitimate BIOS version. Today though, after the update, my laptop is idling 10 degrees hotter, and I can now physically feel the heat coming through the top of the laptop when typing. Please help!

Windows doesn't push BIOS updates, you have to personally/manually do that. Speaking of which (if by some rare chance it was an actual BIOS update), have you tried re-flashing or simply flash the previous BIOS back in?

Windows does do that now, confirmed by checking my update history, and watching the bios update last night as part of the windows update restart. I have not tried re-flashing it as of yet. That would be my last resort as of right now.
