Laptop Runs out of Battery Around 50%

My laptop (Lenovo y40-70, lithium-ion battery) charges to 100%. BatteryInfoView shows it holding the maximum amount of charge, and shows that the battery is healthy. It stays on 100% for a long time, then steadily falls to 50%, when suddenly the battery immediately jumps to 0, and the laptop hibernates. It has been this way for a week, the battery meter is still not calibrated, I don't know why. Also, somehow the battery wear level is 105%...

How old is the battery? It might have a defect that recharging won't fix.

That honestly sounds like a bad battery to me.
