Question Laptop Runs Slow After Fresh Install

Hi all,

Laptop is a ASUS TUF TUF506IU-ES74 . Started running slow suddenly. No weird spikes in memory or CPU usage. Did a health check on the SSD and it came back good. Eventually decided to do a fresh install and it's still lagging terribly. It lags when in BIOS, before and after flashing it. My next idea is to visually check the components, but after that...probably a lost cause. Any ideas before I start the search for a replacement?

All temps were fine. Didn't try it under load because its not even stable enough.

Getting the feeling I'm gonna have to just suck it up and find a replacement.
