So, a small amount of water was spilled on my laptop screen, I immediately unpluged the power and took off the battery and then left it to dry for 4 days
and today when i turned it on it ran just fine for 10 minutes, but then the screen started to flicker like this.

Should i leave it to dry for a couple of more days? or does the screen looks un reedemable at this point and would need to fully replace it?
I will def take it to repair shop but what does the situation look like atm?

If the water only poured on the monitor and not the motherboard like the keyboard and such then only the tiny control board on the monitor needs to be replaced if you know how, the LED itself seems to be ok. Also if it is hard to find maybe trying to change the cable see if that helps.

But if the motherboard was also affected then this can get complicated.

UPDATE: If you can't get the control board or the cable try getting some distilled pure water (H2O) from a drug store or chem store and try cleaning the monitor related kits and the connectors see if that helps.

Also please let me know how it turns out, if you find the cause of this situation or if by opening it up and cleaning the board using pure distilled water the problem goes away , cause seems like an interesting case and I am curious a bit.
