Question Laptop screen freezes when moved

Hi I am currently running a Dell M4800 and have a constant problem for which I don't have solution. Whenever I am using the laptop while keeping it on knees and thighs, its screen suddenly flickers when moved a little bit and freezes with no way to do anything until force restarted. Before that, Sudden BSoD used to do the same thing to my pc and won't work unless force restarted. I don't know what the problem is? If someone asks for more information, I will readily provide it but kindly help me solve it.

place a flat, hard surface, like a tray (there are dedicated pillow laptop trays) under the laptop.
It is possible that when the laptop is placed on a soft surface, airflow inlets are blocked, and components heat up... also the bottom panel could bend and touch a conductive component, and make it short circuit...
