Question Laptop Screen Issue

My friend's teenage daughter dropped her HP 14 laptop. It all still works but the display is messed up with streaks of color on the lower third of the screen and black along the bottom. Any ideas if this is fixable without replacing the lcd panel?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a new LCD needed unfortunately.

either you use an external display for the rest of it's days or you get the panel fixed
