Laptop screen turns off

Hi, i have Toshiba Sattelite when i turn it on it shows logo for about few seconds, then turns off (closing lid and open does the same few seconds display). Windows loads normally, external monitor works fine. I have replaced inverter, but still same result. If i light from back with my flashlight i can see clear picture.

Just found that sometimes screen works fine (only at low brightness setting if i set it up it goes blank immediately), but if i move laptop a bit i goes blank again. So should i replace backlight? Or should i replace all monitor? I think i can try to change backlight, still nothing to lose

Hi, I think the backlight is defective, when in low brightness it's alright, but if you go for higher brightness, it's shutting down. Sometimes you can change just the backlight in the screen. But often you need to change whole screen, it's too difficult to remove just the backlight. Look at your screen, and determined if it will be easy to do.
