hello there guys, Recenctly may laptop ran into a problem. When I turn on the power button, the LED of power button turns ON ( but no display). After a few seconds the fans turn on at maximum speed and laptop shuts down automatically.
Took it to a repair shop, the guy said it is a BIOS issue, but I am not convinced.
Anyone knows what could be the prob?
Thank you :)

Solution
Sounds like bios / me region issue. You can try fixing yourself with ch341a programmer costs about 10 euro / usd

This is not for sure ofcourse but i seen many laptops with that exact issue. Would say its 50% fix.
Or you can let them do it, depends on the price ofcourse.

You need the soic clip aswell unless you want to desolder chip from the board : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EEPROM-B...422785?hash=item1cd5c32ec1:g:LFAAAOSwiTNdNXhZ

If you shop elsewhere just search for ch341a + soic clip
