laptop shuts down

ok so my laptop started to shut down whenever i watch videos online i can watch videos ive downloaded but not streaming i got a new power cable new hard drive cleaned it properly and still shuts down but now it shuts down sometimes without even watching videos

Go check out the temps of your CPU and maybe GPU (when running your browser and stream) and post them here.

ok cpu temp varies between 80-85c and gpu varies between 63-82c

As above. Most likely the cpu heat sink and fan are clogged.
If it's not too bad then a can of compressed air will be enough to clear it. If the fluff and dirt has built up then you will need to take the fan apart and remove the debris.

Easy way to tell if it's clogged, put you hand next to the vent, if there is no air flow then it's blocked.

the 80-85c may be ok but depends on the type of cpu you have, laptops generally run hotter than pc's anyway.

Observe the temps till the moment the laptop shuts down. Temps are okay but maybe they go even higher and then the laptop automatically shuts down to protect the CPU.

that was my first guess but laptops not getting hot i open it and spray it on a regular basis since my house is very dusty. i also went and got a cooling station for it and it shuts down more frequently since

Did you try to run it without the battery, power cable only? Maybe there's a problem with the battery, idk

First 85 degrees is very high for just watching videos online. Do you have hardware acceleration on as this used to happen to me?

The other possibilities are:

Faulty fans
Thermal paste dried out
Batter, power supply or power jack faulty
