Laptop sound cracks when watching HD video

For the past 3 months or so, when I watch Netflix, Youtube, anything with HD video the sound gets all crackly and is really annoying on my laptop.

When I watch a Youtube videos in 360 or 480 the sound is perfectly normal, it's just HD video for some reason makes it sound terrible. The same happens when I watch Netflix and the HD goes on, the sound gets all crackly again.

All the sound drivers said they're updated.

Any help would be great and easy instructions too

Have you updated your video drivers? Sounds like the problem erupts when the High Def is kicked in, could be an old video driver clashing with other new drivers. Find your computer model and google it with brand name and model number then drivers after it like HP model(your model here) drivers. navigate through your native sight and update the video drivers see if this helps. update all motherboard drivers while on the machines native site see if this helps, could be audio driver too, or audio driver clashing with video driver?
