Laptop sound not playing

My laptop sound is gone off completely. And it says The device is being used by another application. I tries to disable the sound card driver and enable it then it works but then it appears again. I am tired of this disabling and enabling work. I formatted my laptop but don't get anty success. There not any perticular time when this happens but its very anoying.

Please help me
