Hi guys, I am a Business management student and I'm on a budget right now. Looking to buy a decent machine for my class, mostly I'll be working on MS excel and stuff, but occasionally I also do Photoshop designing, and old school gaming like CS source etc. I have narrowed down my search to this model:
ASUS X507 ( Core i5-8th Gen /8 GB RAM/ 1TB HDD / 15.6" FHD/ Windows 10 )
Now this model comes in two variants,
  1. with integrated graphics Intel UHD Graphics 620
  2. MX 130 (2GB)
I am willing to go for a light Graphics card, but by the benchmark results, MX 130 is no better than the integrated one. I want your thoughts on this.

The Nvidia MX 130 should be fine for your use case. It's better than AMD Ryzen-5 graphics and also the Intel UHD 620.

However it has 2 models, namely ddr3 and ddr5.

Some laptops come with the ddr3 variant, for example: Hp pavilion x360
That is not something you would want.
