[SOLVED] Laptop SSD into Desktop

Hey guys so I am relatively new to PC building. I ordered an MP33 SSD M.2, which once I received it in the mail, looks to be made for a laptop. However, I am trying to build a desktop. Will this SSD work fine with my desktop motherboard, or should I return and purchase a different SSD?

To be more specific on specs the SSD is a TeamGroup MP33 SSD PCIe Gen3 x4 and the motherboard is a Gigabyte b450 Aorus Pro Wifi AM4 B450 SATA 6Gb/s .

M.2 drives are not laptop or desktop specific.

Your motherboard has an M.2 port (M2_A) supporting a PCIe 3.0 x4, just like that drive is.
