Question Laptop stuck after installing new hard drive

Recently I installed a new hard drive because the one before was super messed up and now I'm stuck on the screen saying reboot and select proper boot device, I can't press any key at all without it just repeating the message please help

Did the drive you have prior have the OS on it or was the OS installed on another drive, outside of the new drive.
