Today I've booted up my laptop to be greeted with "Preparing automatic repair, please wait while we install a system update." Laptop restarted, and a bios utility tool pops up with a dialogue box that says

"Check system power error / Please check battery is connected and remaining capacity is more than 20%".

In the menu of the tool I can't click any of the buttons, and I'm forced to cut the power off by unplugging and replugging the power just for the same thing to happen every time.

My laptop's battery died out a few months ago, and I haven't had any issues using it without the battery. Is there any way I can get out of this loop? ( I don't have any experience with these kinds of things, but I can provide as much information as I can about my laptop. )
