Question Laptop stuck on BIOS update for 2 hours

I was doing a windows update and my BIOS screen showed up telling me to do an update, so I decided to do it not realizing that it was gonna flash the BIOS which I dont need because it's running fine. It did the update, flashed it and then it said it was restoring the previous version which I assume meant that it failed, before it even got to 1% the display shut off with the fans at full speed, it's been like this for 2 hours now and I cant shut my computer off. I really don't want to have to pull my battery out. Hope you can help.

I tried holding down the power button for 2 minutes, it didn't shut off, it's unplugged because I'm draining the battery and the charging light is still on.

I drained the battery and Plugged it back in and it's working normal now.
