Laptop supporting hdmi 2.0

I've been searching for a while but have not been able to find an answer yet, so here goes:

I'm gonna connect a 240hz monitor to my laptop, but hdmi 2.0 is needed to support 240hz.. I can't figure out if my laptop supports hdmi 2.0.

How do I find out? This is my info:

Shark Gaming V17-50Ti
i7-7700HQ CPU
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

If any additional info is needed, please let me know...

PS. Also, if this does NOT support hdmi 2.0, is there any way to work around it? An adapter or similar?

Best place to check would be with the vendor support. No you can't get an adapter to make the hardware be HDMI 2 if it's not.
