Laptop swapping parts

So ive got a laptop that i think the motherboard/gpu is fried, and ive got a laptop where the case is all cracked to the point where it sounds and looks like it is pulling apart when its opened.

Would i be able to swap the mobo and gpu from the cracked one into the one thats dead? They are both acer

I dont want to open them up unless i know itll work. The one with the cracked case works but its going to die any day if i keep using it as is

Only if they are the exact same model.
Just the same Acer brand does not count.

Must be the same exact model.
