[SOLVED] Laptop temp even higher after repaste.

Hello, so I respated my GPU and CPU on my laptop. I also clean the dust on the heatsink. After playing some games, the temp is even higher than the stock thermal paste. I used the rice method to repaste both of it. I used some low quality thermal paste in a paper bag I found in a Chinese heatsink box to repaste it. Is the problem low quality thermal paste?

Most probably yes. You can get an Arctic MX-4 2019 for around $5, I've used an older version of it and it performed very well
