Laptop to Desktop [IDE]

I'm trying to recover data from an old Toshiba Satellite hard drive, and I'm having a bit of trouble finding the EXACT adapter.
I was hoping this would do the trick, but I'm just not sure.
attached is a picture of the male connectors on the laptop drive.

Looks like it will work to me. How well is open to debate as I have heard those type of adapters, even more modern SATA, can be problematic.

At least it will not cost a lot to find out.
