Laptop turns on and off after trying another processor

Yesterday I decided to try out an processor going from Pentium to an i3, that didn't work out. I switched it back to the original one and it turns on, cpu fan running, nothing on the screen and it shuts off. I plugged in my charger I realized that when its plugged it turns on and off at least 2-3 times. Can anyone tell me whats the problem and can help ?

What laptop model... how involved was the disassembly - could be something didn't get reconnected.
