Question Laptop turns on but it's fans turns on then off within a second ?

My laptops been weird lately, the laptop when it's opened on its first start, the laptop turns on but the fans would suddenly turn off for a second and there was no display, even the hdmi on the monitor, but it restarts automatically and the fans started to run normally without turning off but the monitor via hdmi is still not displaying anything while my keyboard, headset and mouse have lights on them? Any solutions would be appreciated, thank you (I need this laptop for my school and video editing)

Have you tried a different hdmi cord?
