laptop two different gpu's

ok i have a HP Pavilion dv7-2185dx Entertainment Notebook and it got sent in for repairs around 6 months ago and the warranty is up and games have been freezing almost every 1-5 seconds for 5-15 seconds the gpu's inside the laptop are AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6370 what video card is better and could this be causing the freezing also it happens when not in a game just not as much
the cpu is AMD Phenom II P860 Triple-Core Processor

6370 is significantly better but there may issues that can cause freezing. I would advise to reinstall games, video card drivers and directx.

ok im going to completely remove all amd drivers and reinstall them

ok i ran the amd uninstall utility and it messed the pc up so i reset it back to factory i downloaded the driver from amd and when i restarted the computer it said "No AMD graphic drivers installed or the amd driver is not functioning properly" and i went into the device manager and it said the AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 had a problem so windows disabled it. why didn't windows use the 6370?. anyway i right clicked on the 6370 and clicked update driver from the device manager then i restarted windows and it still says there is no amd graphic driver installed. i read online that i have to get the drivers from HP because they have there own BIOS should i download the drivers from there. or should i wipe the hard drive and install a copy if windows 7 that isnt HP?

is there a way i can disable the AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 and use only the 6370 because i ether get the error that there is no video card/driver installed or i get could not load file or assembly 'CLI.implementation' or one of its dependencies. the system cannot find the file specified

ive installed the 13.1 driver from the link above but it says its using the AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250. is there a way i can disable that gpu and use the 6370 card only?
