Recently got an Asus VivoBook F510UA-AH51 with an M.2 SATA slot. Purchased a Crucial MX500 500GB M.2 SATA ssd and installed it. The computer's UEFI is not detecting the drive, and I can't see it in Windows disk management either.

I've disabled CSM, disabled secure boot, reinstalled the UEFI (even after it told me a couple times my different copies of the firmware were not right, it suddenly worked correctly), and have tried reinstalling the SSD multiple times. According to Asus' site, the laptop supports SATA M.2 and not NVME, which is why I have the M.2 SATA version.

I'd be able to test the drive in a different laptop, but it's got hexapoint screws on it 🙁

Anybody got any ideas, or do I need to return the drive/laptop? Thanks!
