Question Laptop Undervolting / Stuttering Help

I recently bought a new gaming laptop but have struggled with overheating and stuttering when playing games.

Several games even crash randomly giving errors reports that result in 'Rendering Device Not Found'.

Would like to try undervolting to see if i can smooth out my overheating problems and hopefully increase this laptops performance but really have no idea on how to do this correctly.

Any tips would be very appreciated. I will post specs here shortly.

I have DL'd Intel XTU, but don't really have any idea on what safe ranges I could set my rig to.
I also have Throttlestop as well, but again, not really sure on how to find the sweet spot on underclocking.

Undervolting = Reduced stability, you can't expect lower temperatures and stability when undervolting, If your laptop is under warranty I'd try getting it replaced before redoing thermal paste.

I have had Kootek laptop cooling pad for about a year and its worked fine, degreases temps for around 20c.

Your also bottlenecking with gtx 1060 anyway so could disable intel turbo boost if your not hitting near 100% of cpu usage while gaming.
