Is the memory purchased already installed Kingston DDR3L 1600?
Have you got a link to Amazon of the memory you purchased. Link for crucial not showing me the type you purchase.
I don't remember what it came with originally. From the factory, it came with one 8GB stick of 1600. I purchased the laptop from Computer Upgrade King, and they had upped the RAM to 16GB.
Here is what I have in all 4 slots:
Slot 1: PC3-12800 Kingston Part #99U5428-018.A00LF
Slot 2: PC3-12800 A-Data Technology Part #AM1L16BC8R2-BIQS
Slot 3: PC3-12800 Micron Technology Part #16KTF1G64HZ-1G6N1
Slot 4: PC3-12800 Micron Technology Part #16KTF1G64HZ-1G6N1
The last 2 are the ones I purchased. So the Kingston must have been the factory RAM, and the A-Data the CUK installed RAM.
No, I don't have a link on Amazon to the memory I purchased, as I didn't buy it there.
I didn't expect the Crucial website to show what RAM I purchased. Just linked it to show where I got it.
Here are the basic specs on the original RAM:
