I recently got an asus rog gu501gm
i7 8750H
16gb ram
gtx 1060

when running games it shows on task manager that 80-90% of the built in graphics is being used and 0-5% of the graphics card. The game ive tried this in is overwatch

I've tried:
=Disabling intel graphics which just screws up the nvidia control panel gives me an error saying "You are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU" and i cant access it after that.
=Updating nvidia graphics driver
=Setting inside nvidia control panel preferred graphics processor, set it to "high performance nvidia driver"

update:
-Tried testing in dota 2 and it seems to split the resources evenly? about 30-40% in both the intel and gtx 1060

I get about 120 fps in dota, and I would guess about 140 in overwatch but the laptop has a 120hz screen and I feel like im playing on 60hz in these games...
