Question Laptop video & keyboard connectors...

I'm wondering, are all laptop video & keyboard connectors standardized between all different brands? I'm curious whether I could replace the (old) motherboard in an (old) laptop with a newer one and keep the old keyboard & display. I have built several desktop pcs but haven't fooled around much with laptops. Thanks.

its not really standardized, i rememebr replacing mine old VA panel with CCFL backlight with IPS led on notebook and even if it was pin compatible, i still had to rewire it as pinout on mainboard was different then on panel and also had to reprogram it a bit...was fun
same would apply to keyboards...
