Laptop volume is quiet even on 100%

Hello guys, I did a fresh reinstall on my laptop, it had Windows 7 so I put Windows 8.1. Cleaned the disk with pressing shift and F10, writing diskpart, selecting disk 0 and cleaning it. Then installed Windows 8.1 but ever since then its really quiet. Any help with this?

Try this...

Right click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select 'Playback Devices'. Right click the default device then click the Properties button. Click the Enhancements tab and put a tick in the box next to 'Loudness Equalization'. Click apply to save the changes and then click OK.
