[SOLVED] Laptop vs Desktop advice for Gaming rig that will play any game out on the market.

I'm gearing towards a laptop because I want to be able to travel overseas with it, but I want a rig that will play any game. With the bitcoin nonsense GPUS are way too expensive, and with the versatility of being able to travel with a laptop I was thinking it's better to get a laptop, but I do want to play any game on the market. I was thinking this laptop https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Business-i7-11800H-1920x1080-Bluetooth/dp/B09C3VDFGS/ref=sr_1_1?crid=397A55I7G5798&dchild=1&keywords=MSI+-+Sword+15.6"+Gaming+Laptop&qid=1635035997&qsid=135-9246964-1025024&sprefix=msi+-+sword+15.6+gaming+laptop,aps,137&sr=8-1&sres=B09C3VDFGS,B09C3TQBQL,B091GGZT1S,B08SWJHHBT,B09127DDVT,B092RX3H5N,B095C23PMJ,B08Z7R21ZN,B0916GR3Z5,B09BT6W1ST,B08965WD75,B08NHMGBWJ,B085B3GFRL,B0843JCV17,B08K9DC2G1,B09C6KV385&srpt=NOTEBOOK_COMPUTER&th=1

Will it play any game? Are there any suggestions for better laptops on the market?

edit: Anything under $2,500 (Hopefully under $1,600, but I don't care about Hard disk space, or extra performance that is beyond maximum performance of most video games. I want 1080 resolution and the usual 15.6 (standard?) inch monitor size. I want one that doesn't overheat. Because of the bitcoin thing making GPUS expensive, I really don't care for overkill on a GPU, but I do want to play any game on max performance on 1080p. I'm also looking for an Intel graphics card and CPU not AMD.

Also, I'm wondering if it's a lot cheaper to get the same performance out of a Desktop as a Laptop but I am thinking that the Bitcoin thing making GPUS more expensive makes Desktops not that much cheaper (not sure if right/wrong).

Edit 2: I might want a Desktop, but only if it's significantly cheaper than a laptop or has much better performance for a comparable price. I do prefer laptop recommendations because I can travel with the laptop.

The laptop is $1200 for a 3050 TI (only one down from 3060 TI) and it has an i7 instead of i5. Not sure why I would want to go with a desktop instead of a laptop because I can travel with a laptop. Thanks though, I appreciate the post :)

A laptop 3050 Ti is far slower than a 3060 Ti. There's some variance based on the different wattage specs used in different laptops, but the 3050 Ti is a GPU that's roughly equivalent to the GTX 1060/RX 580 tier.

If you don't want a desktop, then why ask for recommendations as an option?

I might want a Desktop, but only if it's significantly cheaper than a laptop or has much better performance for a comparable price. I do prefer laptop recommendations because I can travel with the laptop. ( Just added this to the original post).

The two builds I posted will mop the floor @ 1080P with any sub $2000 laptop. With that said if I was after a gaming laptop I'd check out the Lenovo site to begin with and from there look at MSI, Gigabyte, Asus and Alienware.
