Laptop will not boot

Hello,
need help having same problem will not boot at all through CD or hard drive, system restore doesn't work, system repair doesn't work either. Windows 7 op pretty frustraited..

System restore is available through the "repair computer" options on the Windows DVD.

He said he can't boot through his cd drive.

Best suggestion I can give is to re-install Windows and keep your old files. The Windows install will move most of your old install into a folder called "windows.old". It'll move your Windows, Program Files, Programfiles (x86), Users and Programdata folders.
